I think they will come out wth with a black Wii MH3 bundle when MH3 comes out. MH3 had such a bundle in Japan after all, and they did promise (if I recall correctly) to help with marketing MH3 in the west. Or did they promise that only for DQIX?

No, Nintendo's going to be promoting both MH3 and DQIX in the west next year.  Iwata has compared it to their initiatives for Pokemon and Brain-Age, so I'd expect big things...

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

They're probably saving it until a sales slump occurs. I doubt they'd just put it put there when sales are still high.

They sell the black remotes, nunchucks, and motion plus accessories (we have two sets), but no black Wii yet? I'd also prefer a matte finish. Especially on the top of the controllers because as nice as the glossy black controllers look, one touch and the surface looks ravaged with prints.

Damn you oils on the fingers!!

If I were Nintendo I would be ruthless... I would start releasing a variety of colors, to push more hardware killing the PS3 before it has properly hatched. Every relatively large game is a reason to release a new color... especially new IP's by nintendo.

So do I. When the sales start to dip around March to a "poor" level, the colors will drop.

Plus, if Nintendo was really honest about their relentless promotion of MH3, they will need the new color as an incentive.

because nintendo has always made colour systems and it would be stupid not to make coloured systems again
