Forums - Sales - Why did X360 Borderlands outsell PS3 version 3:1 ?

It still doesnt change the fact that you have the scoring system wrong.

BTW, SOCOM Confrontation, according to your scale is rated below average? So how can it be one of your favorite games? Weird

Those are games I own, not necessarly my favorite games and I havn't updated that in a while because I just don't care enough to do it.  What's weird is you continue to argue about an opinion.  Give it a rest.

IN MY OPINION the game is average.  Deal with it.

I found Borderlands to be a good game, but given the other releases and the outlook...I was definitely a low low low priority for me, especially given Pitchford's cooments.

Are you surprised?..I´m not.

Recent multi platform games have performed very well on PS3...

Batman Arkham Asylum > 360 version, etc...

This is the first time I've seen 3:1 X360 sales compared to PS3 (along with Dragon Age)...so yes...I'm quite surprised

And PS3 does sell software...if you mean that comment in a trollish way.

Batman on the PS3 had the joker bonus content, so even I bought the PS3 version over the 360 version.  Dragon Age for the 360 contains bonus armor that can be used with Mass Effect 2.

We're to busy playing all the AAA games that came out this year to be bothered with another average shooter, which is exactly what Borderlands is.

Borderlands is not another average shooter.  It is a unique FPS-RPG title, with good controls, and a focus on loot gathering and grinding.  It puts this genre on the map as a valid genre, and has even Fallout 3 being thought of differently as a result.

*facepalms*

An opinion can be wrong if it isn't backed up properly and we don't have to respect it if it is completley false.

Have you even played the game? Metacritic =/= a game's quality. I can think of loads of game that have got 80s on metacritic.

This should have been an exclusive.

No...360,000 PS3 owners bought that game including me. It's also a PC game so even if it wasn't on the PS3 it still wouldn't be a 360 exclusive.
