Forums - Gaming - Anyone else getting tired of FPS?

I'm not really tired of them. COD: MW2 and Left 4 Dead 2 are pretty awesome games. I can't wait for MAG in 2010.

FPS game is good at in muitiplay, that is diffrent frome RPG.

These days I only play Halo and MW2. Everything else on consoles is all the same. I tend to play anything but FPS most of the time.

You've got to get your friends playing with you. Single-player games are great (Uncharted 2 by far was the best game I played this year), but the whole multi-player experience is just something else. I get bored playing CODMW2 if I'm not playing with people I know.

Example: Resident Evil 5 is a great going through the single player story mode... Split screen co-op with a friend is that and more. Frustrating at times when (s)he doesn't listen, but the whole cooperative play thing just adds more to the experience not just on your screen.

Well, I only bought 1 FPS this year and that was KZ2. I wont be buying anymore till kz3 so no problem there for me

This happen to me with JRPGs last gen on the PS2. I was SO TIRED of JRPGs on the PS2 that I stop purchasing JRPGs all together for a year. The break for JRPGs did me good and now I'm back playing them. I think if you tire of genre then its time for you to take a break from before you start to HATE the genre.
