On Newbie....From Wikipedia:
Origin
Before it entered popular discourse by way of the Internet, the term "newbie" had a limited usage among U.S. troops in the Vietnam War as a slang term for a new man in a unit.[1]

C'mon, nobody watches scrubs? Every time Dr. Cox sees J.D. he calls him newbie. Even years into the series, after J.D. becomes a resident, he's still called newbie, lol.

I didn't mean where did the word originate from. I was justing quoting something from pop culture. :P
@RTC: How can you not watch Scrubs!?! It's easilymy favorite show along with Futurama and Metalocalypse.
sorry makingmusic....while that is a popular cultural reference for the term it has been making the rounds for a long time....and has become quite common since the dawn of the internet. We used to use the term all the time back in my aol days. That was 1996. Scrubs began in 2001.
