Does the UK have anything similar to black Friday (a day or time of the year that retailers simulations have massive sales)?

No but it all starts to build up after Bonfire Night (5th November) which tends to be when shops start putting christmas stuff out

What's bonfire night? I thought November 5th was Guy Fawkes Day?

Wow you Ukners are so lucky!

Ukner?

I actually don't mind the sound of that.

PS: Something is wrong, this thread involves the UK and it hasn't turned into an Anglo-Scottish war.

*fixes*

anyone saying England>Scotland dies.

:)

England > Scotlan. . . chokeing. . . can't breathe. . . lights going out. . . mommy? . .

Edit: apparently dying makes me unable to spell as well.

Same thing. We burn Guy Fawkes and then light fireworks to symbolise what could have happened. Or something.

@Trashleg: England >> Scotland. There, I said something different.

Hmmm, I wonder what percentage of UK sales are from the Scots.

You mean what percentage of UK thefts are by the Jocks right?
We did have that Tuesday last month which was supposed to be the biggest day for online sales and had loads of special offers. I can't remember the tag the press gave it but if anything that's the closest to black friday.

ENGLAND>Scotland.

Oh and Wales is...

erm..

Well at least it's not the south.

Edit: It was cyber monday and it didn't have too many discounts but that's the closest I can think off.

There is a Black Friday in the UK, which is the last Friday before christmas, but it has nothing at all to do with shopping.

Oh, and Wales > Scotland > N.Ireland > England

Great sale, we should see a good boost in the coming weeks in the uk.

Good, too bad it wasn't turned down to 1/3 of the price...

To £50? Even I wouldn't be able to resist that

Just add another 50£ and buy a 360 already, the exclusives say "hello"
