New Record Set PS3 Is Going To Cross 10 million Sold Worldwide In A Year Starting From January!

        Just checking some of the numbers PS3s at 9.7m now it will be at 10.3m when the numbers come in tomorrow this marks the first time the PS3 has sold over 10 million in a year.  In 2008 the PS3 sold 9.8m and 360 did 10.7m and the previous year it was PS3 7.5m and 360 7.8m sold through out the year worldwide.  Now the problem is that there are 3 more weeks of data for 2009 left! which would put the PS3 by my estimations at around 12.5 -12.8 before 2010 starts not bad for a console that was $400 for 8 out of the 12 months.

Anyway congrats to the PS3!

Wait, I thought Sony outsold Xbox 360 world wide in the 08 year....perhaps I just read some fanboy post from somebody else. Where can I go to check accurate data for that year?

if it can 12m this year then it could do 15m next year with likes of GT5,GOW3,Heavy rain,WNC,Modnation racers,FF14,SO4,etc

thats awesome if it can do 15m next year and if the 360 manages to sell its usual 8-11m that it has been doing for the past 2 years then that would put the gap to about less than a mill
