They're very pleased with PSP Go sales? How can anyone take anything he says in that interview seriously after reading that comment?

espacially knowing the fact he works for Sony. They know nothing.

Yeah I'm beginning to believe that might be true.

So you honestly believe that they're very pleased with the PSP Go's sales?

I can only go by what they say, you do know they are making tons of money of that thing.

Sony knew that given the pricing of the PSPgo it wouldnt be that big. Sony is probably hoping that they will be able to find a way to make the PSPgo cheaper in the future, so that it could have more potential. I've read over and over how the DD market is going to grow, so sony is probably factoring that into their future expectations for the PSPgo

You don't have to only go by what they say, you're allowed to use critical thinking, even when it's about statements from a rep of a company you're a fan of.

To me the sales are disapointing, but if he says he's happy with it, what am i suppose to say?

I am going to be backing you up here^^.
Sony never expected PSP Go to be a massive success, the knew the damand for it would not be very high.
Every Psp Go they sell, they make a nice profit, and they are happy with it sales, not everything has to sell PS2 levels you know.

Blah blah blah... the other guys suck and we rule... blah blah blah.

You can rinse and repeat this with Microsoft also regarding motion controls. I would say Nintendo also, but they have a track record. One has to wonder if the companies actually base their business strategy on this talk, and think like this, or they feed it to the media to suck up and spit out, so that sites like this generate page after page after page of comments.

Expanded audience doesn't want to get sucked into a game, so using the wand to try and immerse people more into the game, shows that Sony doesn't get it

^ Headshot.

Honestly, Sony doesn't believe that they can mimic the success of the Wii with their motion controls right? Surely they'd know that by copying motion control stuff that the Wii's been doing isn't gonna earn them the same success. I mean for example, if someone owns both a PS3 and Wii and Sony decides to creat software similar to Wii Sports, what makes them think that people would wanna buy the PS3 software of it when they probably own Wii Sports?

The Motion Controls aren't gonna cause trouble for Natal or the Wii and nor will Natal cause trouble against the Wii.

Personally I don't get all the hype for Natal anyway, it more or less does everything that the Eye Toy already does.

Anyway Sony's motion controls won't cause trouble for Natal or Wii. You wonder why people are interested in Natal and not so much in the PS3 motion controls:

1) Natal is something a bit more imaginative than the Motion control.

2) The Wii has already established the Motion control thing and thats' why people won't look at the PS3 for motion controls.
