Ehh' not really sure man, but everyone is attacking the poor man, they won't leave him alone.

poor man? haha he deserves all the Hate the media and the world are giving him, he didnt just cheat once..he did it like 6 times! (and there the confirmed people)

its a shame we have this scum on TV, lets hope EA fire his cheating ass

And who are you to call him 'scum'? What kind of moral high-horse are you on that gives you the right (or proper perspective) to judge someone like that. I mean seriously, people make mistakes, this whole thing is blown WAY out of proportion. People should just learn to mind their own business and if a man cheats on his wife (even if it's 50 times), that's between them. Outsiders should keep out.

But people like to gossip when their own lives are uninteresting.

well, assuming he got married, he probably threw in a "til death do us part" and all that jazz. So cheating on your wife/husband is pretty scummy. You don't even need to be on a moral high-horse to know that. However, there is no reason not to give him a second chance if he is truely sorry and not just sorry he got caught.

Oh, no, you misunderstood, I wasn't trying to imply he wasn't scummy, but that we (as outsiders) have no say in the matter and should stay out of it. That's really what I was getting at, though I also find it 'wrong' to just judge like that when you have NO idea what's actually going on (what you hear about on the news isn't enough and doesn't count).

Marital fidelity should be made optional in marriage oaths as facts and anonymous polls show it's breached by up to 50% of people of both sexes at least once and scientists demontrated that a consistent share of humanity is genetically poligamist.
BTW nobody demonstrated, as nobody can, given the subjectivity of the matter, the erroneously presumed moral superiority of monogamists on polygamists. Why marry the, someone could ask? For a lot of other reasons, loving each other, helping, giving a stable family to children, all things that if fidelity isn't a necessary condition become even more solid, as a possible reason to break a marriage is removed since the beginning.

because i have never cheated on anyone, so yes i shall call a man who cheated 15 times scum. if he cheated once then that would be a mistake, 15 is NOT  a mistake. he is scum

yeh well its not gossiping...i watch the news. and the fact you came back on here to argue me back means you are gossiping..so nice little line about yourself you wrote there

^^
Common ethics dominated by monogamist prejudices makes difficult for people not believing in fidelity as a mandatory virtue to state it honestly before marriage and even less publicly making a marriage oath without fidelity obligation.
But even though I think not telling your wife or husband how you really are before he/she accepts to marry you is not honest, even serial cheating is a guilt lesser than beating or mobbing or not providing for family needs or sending own family bankrupt by gambling.

EA confirmed that they will stick with Tiger. What other golfer could they get to endorse their game that is as popular as Tiger Woods?

by next year everyone will pretty much forget about the whole situation, so unless tiger permanently quits golf, I'm sure there will be a lot more games.

... Or ceases to be the dominant player that he has been to this point.

As I said in the other thread, sponsors appealing to male-decision-makers (sports related items) appear to be staying with Tiger. Meanwhile, those that sell items that are more family decisions or reach female-decision-makers (non sports items) are going to go another route.

If Tiger dumps EA (which it has not given any inclination to doing), my guess is that it would go back to PGA Golf -- without a title athlete. That is how it used to sell it and sells all of its other sports games other than Madden -- and even that has different cover athletes ever year.

Why is tiger woods so popular among golfers anyway?
