Common ethics dominated by monogamist prejudices makes difficult for people not believing in fidelity as a mandatory virtue to state it honestly before marriage and even less publicly making a marriage oath without fidelity obligation.
But even though I think not telling your wife or husband how you really are before he/she accepts to marry you is not honest, even serial cheating is a guilt lesser than beating or mobbing or not providing for family needs or sending own family bankrupt by gambling.
