But if you're going to get all the DLC, might as well buy the GOTY edition, it's cheaper overall

And I don't get why people didn't like Operation Anchorage, I quite liked it, infact so much that I'd rate it as one of my favourites, it felt like it brought an element of war to the game, and it was fun while it lasted too...

Its only cheaper if he doesnt have the original game already.

Even if he has the original game already it is cheaper to buy the GOTY edition than it is to buy the DLC.

It is?   For which system?

Best Buy has both the 360 and PS3 versions for $60,  Amazon, has it for $57 for each version.   Each DLC pack is $10,  for a total of $50 for all 5.   So how is $50 not cheaper than $57 or even $60?

if you but the goty instead of just the dlc you can turn around and sell the original copy of the game

I myself bought the game of the year edition on sale for 29.99 and then returned later in the day to the same store and sold them my original game for 37.50.

I know for sure that I don't want Operation Anchorage and from what people have said The Pitt doesn't sound worth it either.

Every store around here is selling the GOTY edition for $60.

It's cheaper for me to just download the 2, maybe 3, that I want.

Broken Steel is the only must buy

After that get point lookout.

I'd say don't bother with Operation Anchorage. The other 2 i know very little about.

Well in the UK the DLC is £8 each so £40 for all 5.

The GOTY Edition released at £30 and I have since seen it for £25.  So that is £10-15 saved right there, plus if you trade in your original you get some money back too.

I traded in Fallout 3 for £18, seen it selling for £25 in GAME. so yeah .. £7 for the DLC! Woo!

Where/when did you trade it in for £18.   Not recently and certainly not from GAME

I'm wondering the same thing. How did you sell the non Goty edition for 18 then but the Goty for 25?

I disagree with everyone. Mothership Zeta is the most godawful POS DLC I've EVER played through. Don't touch it with a 10 foot pole, just look the other way and run! It's so monotonous it's not even funny. Absolutely nothing but shooting aliens, not even a half decent story. I'm never playing through that again. Operation Anchorage is the better of the two combat oriented ones, and I really like all the others too.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

about 6 weeks ago at a place called CEX, they only do trade in.

Never heard of it.

I bought the GAME Limited edition version last christmas 2 weeks after released for £22.  Got a Brotherhood fo Steel figure with it.  I figured I'd get about £5 at most trading it in now (keeping the figure, because it is awesome).

It's funny because as much as people say the big stores rip people off, the little ones are even worse.

This shop iis a trade in only place, they didn't even have the GOTY edition, ACII or L4D2 when I looked last week. They did have GTA Liberty City stories for £40 though .....

I also got a Xbox vision cam for £10 which go for around £15 - £20 on ebay. So you can get yourself a nice deal! They have a website but it's pretty rubbish in terms of prices.

Point Lookout and Broken Steel are really good.

The Pitt is Fun

Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta are pretty rubbish, they give you some cool weapons but they way to linear too enjoy them as an RPG titles. However they give you a bit of back story about what happened before the Great War.
