The games are only casual/hardcore as to how you play them, not for what the game is.
Example: NSMB Wii -
- just playing for fun skimming by not caring for collecting big coins etc = casual
- playing trying to collect/unlock everything. Find every different ways to complete a stage, mastering jumping off bullets after bullets etc..= hardcore
