It is a great game. That was my only complaint. But, maybe in Demon's Souls 2 we will see better polishment for characters animations. Unfortunatelly, i think they will tone down difficulty on a possible sequel.

Not necessarily, but they could have scaleable difficulty (with rewards). I played an MMO once where you could actually set a difficulty (greater death penalties, need more exp to level, etc.) but by doing so, you get more stats (5 per level on normal, 7 on hard, 9 on ultimate) and you can hit a higher level cap. Ultimate was especially nasty, no respawning, you had to be ressurected or the character was gone.
Maybe a system like that could be implemented, so if you want to just have fun on an easier mode, you can, but you won't be as powerful (gear/skills could be difficulty dependent too).
