It should have been PSP exclusive to begin with?

Why? so it'd look worse, play worse, have weaker sound and so on? you know where 2D fighters belong? on the home consoles.

on the arcades

mwahahaha @ both of you!

Arcades are useless in the shadow of console perfect ports.

well to be honest i don't care about ports and low graphics blah blah , i just want the portable version of it cause i can play it anywhere i go. i hardly go on PS3 these days.

Im going to say it again, 2D Graphics on an' HD res + HD graphics system is uncalled for in general THIS GEN, this isn't the freaking saturn, this is PS3 (and xbox 360!) which means ultimately theres no excuse for BlazBlue to have been 3D instead of the graphical mess it turned out to be.

And PSP Fanboy? please... i treat all the consoles i own fairly, but i also expect consoles/handhelds to do what there suppose to do, and for PS3 and the 360 to not be maxed out by Arc System Works or atleast take advantage of there graphical capabilities is just downright lazy.

See you'd expect PSP to handle graphics like that cuz' its a handheld, not nearly enough power then the ps3 or the 360. therefore logic dictates it would have been better to begin with graphicaly speaking on PSP and then MAYBE ported to ps3/360.

In conclusion your reasons for it to fail are not really reasons at all, you think it will look more ugly on PSP then PS3/360? How the fuck does a 2D fighter look any better or worse on anything now an day's? and even if it does, be realistic it won't be so vast that it'll be unplayable!

Normally i respect your posts Xen, your a good guy, but i cannot agree with you on this subject. sorry.

The fact that it's the PS360 and not the Saturn doesn't mean you have to ditch 2D completely.

Look at how smooth and deep the sprites are. That's HD resolutions+console power for you.

This game would never work in 3D, and nor does it need to push the HD systems. First, it's a multiplat, second, not every game needs to push a console.

And no, the difference is not so vast to make it unplayable. It's just that I find fighters (and especially unforgiving 2D fighters) unplayable on a handheld. It's just not comfortable with such a small screen.

this game shouldn't be in 3-d and the high resolution sprites on the ps360 are awesome, but i want to play some blazblue on my lunch break so i cant wait for this game to come out
BlazBlue > Street Fighter4 IMO

love playing fighting games on psp specially against my friends on the go

cant wait to get this

-shifty eyes-

some games are better in 2-D , im surprised you out of everyone else saying this.

some of the handmade sprites are just tasty in HD.
