You must be a JRPG only fan because he asked for WRPG/JRPG fans. If it isn't a hard choice then you dont fit the description of the person he wants an answer from. Both games are first day buys.

I am of the opinion that alien sex rules... so ME2 is gonna have to win out here.

I'd pick FFXIII. Mass Effect was awesome but had some serious flaws (that it somehow got away with amidst all the praise).

ME2, on FFX I got stuck at the sea monster thing and I had to make a new file.But I enjoy Mass Effect alot.

This is extremely hard...but I think I'll go with Mass Effect 2

I'm usually not into Wrpg's but biowares games are just too good to ignore. :)

Hard choice - since I am really looking forward to versus BUT I can't say "no" to Dragon Age (will be a series) Witcher 2 and Diablo 3*.

* Before anyone says that D3 isn't an RPG, I would point out that it has as many elements of RPG games as the FF series.

Never played ME so would go FFXIII, can't really mis FFXIII hoping for the off chance its as great as the PS1 ones. Hell even FFX was amazing.

Still waiting for that ME PS3 port :P.

@ Jammy....ME is never coming to PS3. After Bioware said no for the hundredth time this year. LOL

Probably Mass Effect 2. I just love the world and themes of the first game, I'm expecting the second one to introduce more political concepts and races. Plus the gameplay was top notch. ME is one of the few games that can incorporate both good story and gameplay. I'm sure FFXIII will have a good story, but they changed the great gameplay from FFXII to a more turn-based one (for some reason?).

The first one reminded me of Star Trek a bit (because of race affiliations and a kind of United Federation of Planets, and I'm a Trekkie so yeah!

I really like Bioware and will be getting Mass Effect 2 right away, but Final Fantasy is one of my favorite gaming series of all time. If i had to choose, it would be FF XIII.
