Trailer does the job. I was hoping for gameplay too but I realized the game is way too far off to show off that stuff.

Besides, this is spike awards. Trailers purpose was to announce itself to the world...not reveal everything about the game. Thats what E3 is for...

Trailer has a more serious tone than most halos and the rumors seem to be true. It looks like you will be playing as one of 5 spartans...possibly at the same time.

Honestly, I came away from that trailer thinking "that's it?!"

It was unimpressive, and I personally think it's pretty sad that anyone could get really excited from it.
