it took me to finish XII main story 80 hours

and 230 hours to do almost everything

wil XIII be even bigger ?

depends they say its 50 - 60 hours long the MAIN QUEST

including hunts & side quests + stopping randomly just to listen to the music lol

It took me only 60 hours for XII... so I would say as long

I had 50 hours in FFXII just for grinding. I hope FFXIII have room for grinding. I love grinding.

The big question is, will it top the amount of time needed to complete 100% of FFX?

That includes = Getting all ultimate weapons powered up to their max (110 blitzball games for Wakka, also to get all his Slots overdrives), getting all character overdrives, getting the entire monster arena, fighting and defeating Nemesis, defeating the Dark Aeons, defeating Penance.

That took me over 350 hours xD

FFXII on the other hand took me 145 hours to max 100%, even getting all the rare weapons like Danjuro and Yagryu Darkblade.

I HATE grinding

if its like FF10 you won't really need to grind, as long as you play strategically

from reviews apparently boss fights are very hard in the Fantasy epic & your allowed to "RETRY" battles, so everytime you do a battle it will count in the "time" bit

in previous FF's after loosing against a boss it was game over & your tried again, so the time was back to normal

in this one, retrying boss battles everytime means time will be spent & counted

if i have my 15 hour boss i am happy =)

15 Hour boss? Which FF had that insame amount of hours boss fight? o.o

The longest I can remember is Yiazmat, and that was at best 5/6 hours without a proper setup or strategy to defeat him, or as fast as 1/2 hours with the right setup and skills.

yiatmat on low levels can take over 10 hours.

i was VERY low, and only had the zodiac spear :p
