No Controller Required: Natal will hit in 2010

Microsoft's product management director, Aaron Greenberg has said that the console giants are confident about what 2010 will bring. Speaking to Gamasutra, Greenberg said;

"We will do three things well. One, we will continue to offer a better value on hardware pricing ... Two, we will have more games, more blockbuster exclusives, no matter the genre,"

"Three, you add all of the entertainment and social network,"

That's our focus, to keep adding more and more value. Consumers vote with their dollars, and so far it's been paying off, and we feel confident about next year as well."

We look forward to seeing what Microsoft offers us next year, as it's looking like a brilliant year for the industry. We'll bring you all the latest Xbox 360 updates when we get them.

Who thinks 2010 will be the 360s biggest year yet? Sounds to me like it will be.

of course they have to say that, i mean no one is going to say that their company is going to fail next year to the media are they? they would lose all respect to the consumers and investors if they did.

Microsoft held their punches this year and withstood what turned out to be a weak barrage of punches from Sony. Expect them to unleash everything they got next year (many exclusives, new hardware, massive marketing campaigns) and watch as those who claimed the 360 was on the verge of demise go into complete shock.

In a sense it was weak because Sony had a stellar lineup of exclusives all year yet failed to sell more software than Microsoft's lineup which consists of DLC (GTA4 Episodes) and games people all year have been claiming should have been expansion packs (L4D2 and ODST).
