Reviews so far are unaminously positive. Its being hyped up to be some kind of revolution in film making so I want to be able to say I saw it at movies ten years from now. If not, it should at least be worth watching.

So are you excited? If not, why not?

Convince me.

EDIT: all jokes aside I'm really looking forward to this movie. It's supposed to be huge.

Probably. I want to see if it's half as cool as it's being hyped, and if it sucks I want one of the first people to be making fun of it.

Not a chance. The storyline sounds interesting and all but I can't get past the "art style" or whatever you'd call it. The blue avatars or whoever they are just look so stupid to me.

I know the guy directed Terminator & Terminator 2, Alien/Aliens and a couple other decent movies but I still don't know.

The smurfs look retarded, admittedly, but I saw a 2 minute TV spot earlier and the actual world he's created is absolutely amazing.

How dare you defame Ridley Scott by saying that Cameron directed one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time, Alien.

Cameron did Aliens, though... still pretty good.
