According to three different sources, Viacom is paying a whopping $10 million for the rights to the music before the game even sells a single copy, and if it sells as expected, that number will go higher than $40 million. That’s not the game’s development cost. That’s just for licensing

all guitar hero/rockband games should be DLC moving forward. I bought GH1, GH2, Rockabnd...all was well. But rockband 2 felt already repetitive...and that was a year ago.

Public finally caught on.

Glad to see the developers are now seeing the truth. All Guitar Hero & Rock Band is basically recycled content which they thought was easy money and in reality consumers are getting tired.

I mean seriously they just released Band Hero or Guitar Hero 5. Like really I cannot keep up with the series anymore. All I do now is download songs off the marketplace and play them with the original Rock Band.

The Beatles: Rock Band is a good game and I'm a pop rock fan so their music is awesome but paying that much for that bundle is ridiculous.
