Impossible!

I predict 180k to 200k in the first year.

Possible 300k to 350k after a price cut and/or bundling with possibly Red Steel 2.

I think those who own a HD console and a Wii will be willing to wait for a No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle port for 360/PS3 than buy the Wii version right away.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I'm pessimistic about this. I'd guess a 250k lifetime, but thats just a pessimistic guess. Hope it sells better because It'd be nice if Suda could establish a good franchise across all the major console manufacturers.

The first one sold about 460,000 copies. With all the upgrades and extended length within the sequel, it should outsell the original if it is better than the first.

However, the first one was niche; second one is no different. Sequels on Wii don't always match their cheaper predecessors in sales either. The Wii market that wanted NMH in late 2007/early 2008 may have changed too much.

How much will the second sell?

Desperate Struggle will outperform the original NMH.

less, id guess it'll sell closer to madworlds numbers than the original NMH.

somewhere between 200-300k

i hope im wrong, wii needs some decent 3rd party sales, if this flops i think if theres ever another NMH itll be for natal/ps wand.

The game has a faithful following that I expect to purchase the sequel in big numbers, so there won't be a loss in userbase that some sequels experience. And I think the existing base should be able to hype this up pretty nicely, drawing the attention of others.

I could see over 600k lifetime, but I really have no idea where this game could end up.

Yeah it will sure. The second one interest a lot of people who did not play the first one

I think that the recent announcement of NMH port to HD consoles may hurt this one.

 ..........
^Click on cards to level'em up!!!^ =D

I think we will see over 500k lifetime.

Its not a sequel is it? I thought this was an extended port.
