The reason he didn't spend the money is because there are certain laws that apply once your campaign budget goes above a certain amount, and $35k is over that amount.  So it's not likely to happen.

haha...is anyone else watching the show...he did a 24 campaign run visiting with the "swing" votes, one people black women and gun owners...it's quite hilarious...he was also throwing Dorito's at the rally...haha

Well, they let Mike Gravel in, who's almost as unserious as Colbert.

This is probably a good thing. Despite the presence of clowns like the aforementioned Gravel, Kucinich, and Paul, a presidential race really isn't a joke. Make jokes about it - that's different.

Or at the very least gotten the young people of South Carolina somewhat involved in the political process :/ . I would have loved to see him on the primary ballot nation wide just to get people my age actually interested in the election and maybe paying attention to it no matter who they end up voting for in the end.
