Officcial: This game will outsell 12

Around the Network

His complaints don't really seem too bad. If anything, his complaint about how chaotic the battlefield can be sounds good.

This will only take a moment of your time. *steals your watch*

I am SO PUMPED after the new translation

it seems to have a VERY MOVING & Addictive story!!!!!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I loving those review. What exactly does reviewer 2 mean by "Unquestionably the highest echelon of event and movie scenes"?

Maybe several high epic points in the story (something FF12 didn't have)

The written content is very positive!

there goes the "popular games get perfect scores by famitsu" train of thought...
to bad for FF/

hello how are you.

This is one of the few games to nearly get a perfect score from Famitsu, along with FFX. If its at that level, I'm satisfied, because FFX is one of my all time favorite FF games.

However, Famitsu is handing out perfect scores a lot more often lately, and they even gave Modern Warfare 2 a 39/40 (It is a good game however)

I don't know whether I should be worried, or if this year had a lot of games to offer.

This is the true definition of owning.

They all seemed to love the story, gameplay, and visuals. They complain that the game is linear until half way through.

We probably stay in cocoon for half the game

hence its linear

then we go to pulse which is really open

Famitsu: Final Fantasy XIII Misses Perfect Score [Story Spoiler!]

This year, Japanese magazine Famitsu has awarded a perfect 40/40 score to three games: Dragon Quest IX, Bayonetta and New Super Mario Bros. Years-in-the-making and eagerly-anticipated Final Fantasy XIII did not.

Famitsu has four reviewers rate games on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best for a cumulative 40/40 score. Famitsu praised the game's cut scenes as well as the battle system and the high level of strategy it offers. Interestingly, one Famitsu reviewer noted how up until the mid-way point of the game, the story seemed be linear and that it didn't offer any new "gimmicks" in its story telling.

Here is how the other FF title stack up in the eyes of Famitsu:

Final Fantasy I - 35
Final Fantasy II - 35
Final Fantasy III - 36
Final Fantasy Ⅳ - 36
Final Fantasy V - 34
Final Fantasy VI - 37
Final Fantasy VII - 38
Final Fantasy VIII - 37
Final Fantasy IX - 38
Final Fantasy X - 39
Final Fantasy XI - 38
Final Fantasy XII- 40
Final Fantasy XIII - 39
