I just watched this video:

I think you should have put this:

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

The main difference from X's battle system is the lack of direct control over your companions and the paradigm shift. It is not too dissimilar to XII's, but just slightly less MMOy

The only times I've seen characters move freely in combat are in much much older videos.

@g-value you're right, 4 is just the most we've seen so far in videos. As you level up you'll have more command slots.

True... maybe they removed it, I am not really sure, but actually not being able to move would be a good thing for me. I have enough to think about without having to move around too!

Movement looked automatic in this one, but maybe there is just slight movement... not really sure.

ps. if FFXIII mangaes to be better than LO then it will be an incredible game.

Constant framerate drops and screen tearing are the obvious ones.

Wth??

I can't see how you guys can judge FFXIII yet... Even predicting it sounds so random.

I'll still do it though ahah:

Story: Final Fantasy XIII

Style (atmosphere/setting/feel of the game): Final Fantasy XIII
Overall: Final Fantasy XIII

And I played neither of them :)

yea going by fans and of course sales and of course meta.. ff13 will kill LO.
But LO is great for a game that came out 2 years ago.
