So today I was browsing the interwebs, typed nintendo into bing, and one of the frist news articles returned was Project Sora... I am not sure why as it has no new information though it is dated Dec. 8th 2009... Anyways, I reread the transcript between Iwata and Sakurai...
I stopped where it said, "something Nintendo couldn't create on its own, but something they(Nintendo) can back you up on."
What could that be? The only Rare Title Nintendo couldn't make on their own was possibly Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, which personally I don't believe Sakurai is in the business of making FPSes. I am pretty clueless as to what this title might be, as I think Nintendo can create a game in almost any genre. Do you think its a totally New IP or is it just a New experience with familiar characters (a la Super Mario RPG on SNES). Many people think it is a game with mature subtexts... But I don't think that was what Iwata meant by something nintendo cannot create. Sakurai is infamous for affable characters, and I think whoever or whatever is in the next game will remain as such.]
