i think so, i loved silent hill 2 very much and if alan wake is as good or better, then that will be a treat in its self. :)

No. I would say that Dead Space is more likely to be.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories looks to be this gen's Silent Hill 2.

Rofl, im not talking about Crappy Alone in the dark, im talking about the settings.

Alone in the dark is my favourite series, but that new one. is a disaster.

Umm...if you want this gens silent hill 2, go play Silent Hill that jsut came out on the Wii.

Its actually really good, and innovative...

I'd like it to be, but I'm not sure. To be blunt, for a while now I've found original Japanese horror to be superior to anything coming out of the West (movies, games, etc) so while I think Alan Wake will be good, I suspect it'll be too Western to be truly disturbing.

I think so. Silent Hill franchise is burned out and needs to be re-evaluated, if not left alone. I hope Alan Wake comes through.

I loved Silent Hill 2.

I think this game will be a bit different then that though.

This game seems much more action.

Too bad its xbox360 exclusive. Otherwise i would have bought it probably.
