Forums - - Eurogamer: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Review receives a 9/10

This sounds great, pity us European gamers have to wait till February...

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

good, but they should have reviewed this game in february, I meam it's Eurogamer

What's wrong with import reviews?

Imo one problem could be that when the game finally arrives, there's much less local buzz for it

We have to wait til February? Bless the devil, then I have time to save up some money for it.

OT:

Great review, Silent Hill is back.

X-Play gave it a 2/5 and GamePro gave it 2.5/5 stars. I am now reconsidering about actually purchase it. I know I shouldn't lie purely on reviews but I am not versed with Silent Hill so this would be too risky of a purchase for me. Heck, even with relatively positive reviews, Brutal Legend was a risky purchase due to the RTS elements. I was satisfied but sometimes, purchases are to risky to take.

Damn!

I heard it wasn't good... You're telling me it is good now? Bah...I will jsut have to buy this and see for myself.

If there are changes that affect their reviews: their audience will be buying the European copy. For example: bad voice acting or no change from American voice acting, bad translation, bad localisation [references to North America-specific cultural norms not adjusted], bugs in the TV format transition, DLC or online features not availible or removed, censorship due to EU state rules, change in RRP, change in soundtrack, change in boxart/bundles/package.

Canada dont do gamefly. They can't deliver to igloos in time before the disk becomes an icycle I guess

But I can rent from Blockbuster I guess. They got an igloo rental palce down the road.

Maybe you should invent Gamefly:Canada?

IGN gave it an 8.6
