You know, I hope you can still hold some controllers while playing natal. The idea of shooting with my hand shaped like a gun is less realistic than holding a suped up TV remote.

No more expensive than a nunchuk, balance board, zapper, motion plus and a vitality sensor, I'd bet...

Whatever happened to that anyways? Not so much that I want it but for some reason, I thought it was coming out this year..

We have no release date or price or any information at all.

The only thing we know is that Iwata will have something to show at next year's E3.  He's not sure if it will be a trailer or a playable demo, but there will be something we can at least see and maybe touch at E3 2010...

We'll see what happens, patents don't really say anything about what products will be, just which ones might.

I'm still hoping they find a way to ditch the Rudolph the red nosed reindeer ball for something a tad more elegant.

Yes...because the Wii Remote, Wii Nunchuck, Wii Motion Plus, Wii Wheel, Wii Zapper, Wii Fit, Wii Speak and Wii Classic Controller are all freebies...And don't get me started on xbox live and wireless adapters for the 360. :P

Honestly, all 3 companies are just as guilty of selling overpriced accessories to make a quick buck.

And these are just patents and the article you posted even says that they aren't announcements. I believe this thread should be locked for being ill informed.

And don't forget the tennis raquet head that does nothing except fly off your Wiimote and bust your TV if you don't attach it right. That and make you think you are playing a real tennis match of course. I respect the Wiimote and what it's done for gaming, but some attachments are just stupid.

Hmm, it's just a bunch of patents. It's highly unlikely that all of it will actually release.

Haha~ Nice reply :D

Anyway, just like the Kotaku title state obviously, it's only a patent.

/thread

Its just more of these "patent designs just in case we might use it". Most of these designs never end up on shelves or looks nothing like what it shows in the design.

lol great response to a really sorry attempt.

Plus, I don't think that is what the controller will look like. They are just looking for a way that they can make this new motion controller standard so they can start replacing the dualshock and sixaxis out there.
