I'm surprised no one mentioned 10000 BC... that's one terrible movie that doesn't make sense to me and I usually have a pretty low standard on what makes sense in a movie.

That falls under my "anything ever directed by Roland Emmerich or Michael Bay" umbrella.

I know but not all Roland Emmerich movies are that bad. I actually enjoyed ID4. The Patriot was surprising good. I even had fun with Gozilla (although I hate that he made it into a giant lizard). However, 10000BC is just god awful.

As for MI3, it was pretty awesome. Definitely the best out of the 3 movies.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Good Grief I could list a fair few, over many a year.

However, recent clunkers have been:

Transformers 2 (all of it)
GI Joe (most of it)
Wolverine (a fair bit of it)
Terminator Salvation (just kill Reese!)

And as ever a special mention for Battlefield Earth - one of only a select view bad films I made a point of watching to gape at their special brand on badness.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Hey, The Sixth Sense was awesome in a Memento sort of way (one trick pony but it worked for that one film). Each one of M. Night Shylamamanananan's movies have been progressively worse. The Happening was actually funny. "We have to stay ahead of the wind!"

I burst out laughing at that line.

Let's not forget about Signs where aliens that melt at the touch of water invade Earth, a planet 70% covered in water.

Damn, I forgot to add I Am Legend to my list, man, that movie sucked

Other than completely and utterly missing the point of the book, I thought the movie was alright.

Seriously, I don't know why they changed what the phrase "I Am Legend" was about... the original idea was SO MUCH cooler.

As a stand-alone movie, it's not terrible but what they did to the original theme of the book is downright criminal.

I didn't read the book, I'm sur e if I did I'd hate it more. But it's the same hero crap, apocalypse, some brave american is valiant and he's a hero, and everyone happy, bla bla bla. Couldn't be more cliched

Read this and let me know what you think about what "I am legend." truly means in the novel. From wiki:

"Neville goes to his prison window and gets a glimpse of all the infected milling around in the yard waiting for his execution. When they spot him, he sees the fear, awe and horror in their eyes and he understands to them he is a scourge, just as they were a scourge to him at the beginning of the novel. Previously Neville saw the destruction of the infected survivors as a right and a moral imperative to be pursued for his own and mankind's survival, but now he finally acknowledges defeat. He is the only known immune human left in the world, the only survivor of the "old race".

He glimpses a future society where infection is normal and he, Neville, is a murderous biological deviant. As he turns away and swallows the pills, Neville grasps the reversal that has taken place and that just as vampires were legend in pre-infection times now he, an obsolete exemplar of old humanity, is legend in the eyes of the new race born of the infection. The sheer ridiculousness of it all causes Neville to chuckle as he dies, his last thoughts being "[I am] a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.""

Just how much more incredibly cool is that than the shitfest ending the movie went with? I am really sick and tired of watching Will Smith rape great stories on film.

Hmmm, interesting, well, it certainly made me think more than all the movie, that's for sure

And I hate dogs, so that's another minus for the movie

yeah but zex, there is hardly anything you DON'T hate

i havent seen that movie, but i quite liked the book.

OT: terminator 3, epic movie and most of disney's sequels (note that i say most and not all)

Not true, I don't hate, let's see, football, RPGs, rugby, black clothes, videogames, football, classic rock, prog, football, nice-looking guys, science-fiction, atheism and football. See, plenty of things there

Though, I do hate most animals, most celebrations and most countries

I was just thinking of all the terrible movies that I've seen and clips of some that exist. Certain bad movies can give me a good laugh, so I was wondering, what terrible movies have you seen, and try to list them in your post. They can be bad, mediocre, or just "so bad it's good" bad.

My picks are: Eragon, GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Terminator Salvation, and that's all I can think of right now. I've seen clips of some, mostly Troll 2 and other older films like it.

Discuss.

Terminator Salvation was a great movie. x-men origins:Wolverine was also a great movie!!!!!!!! So I respectfully disagree with you!!!!

I'll keep it simple:

Every movie ever directed by either Roland Emmerich or Michael Bay.

i like all of those things. except you mentioned football x4.. so your list is a lot shorter than i first thought takes you down to eleven things.

congratulations, you don't hate eleven things
