Would people stop naming great movies as bad? It makes me think some people are turning "I was disappointed" into "OMFG IT SUCKED!"

Seriously, when I came into this thread, I wasn't expecting to see people list films like The Dark Knight and Prisoner of Azkaban. FFS people.

The Thing is in my top 5 movies of all time. It does everything right. The documentary on the dvd is longer than the actual movie and it's an excellent companion piece. Apparently they're working on a prequel with Carpenter's involvement. I am not excited about it.

The Decent was great because it mirrored The Thing's set up. No women in The Thing, no men in The Decent. Claustrophobic atmosphere. Gore plus. Focus on character development and a great ending.

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

I actually named 2 that really really suck: Brain dead and drag me to hell.

I dont think Transformers 2 was a good movie, but at least it had good effects, fights and Megan Fox, so it was entertaining in the end.

But the problem is that Drag me to Hell is brillant...

I wold quite happily watch braind dead 100 times before subjecting myself to Transformers 2. I actually saw brain dead at the movies when it came out. If you don't like(or get) the comedy horror sub-genre (Evil Dead movies, Rabid Grannies, Bad Taste or even the excellent Zombieland) then yeah, you will obviously hate the two movies you mentioned.

Transformers 2 had messy over the top effects, messy fights and Megan Fox had messy ummm...hair

I wouldnt watch Transformers 2 again, but I couldnt find any of the 2 above any fun, had nothing appealing for me, bad effects, bad music, etc...

My 16 year old brother laughed, but it was like:"LOL, look how shitty these movies are xDDDD"

Well it's a mix of horror and some very clever humor elements.

It doesn't take itself seriously and some of these scenes are made with lots of details. Some scenes are like they were made by Stanley Kubrick!

It wasnt scary in any way and it wasnt funny either.

Some effects were really shitty and the acting was crap too. It was a drag to watch.
