Really good deal, I'll see what I can do, I might just own a 360 by Christmas.

^_^

Do plasma TVs still have that ghosting issue? I really haven't kept up with TVs in awhile.

$700 what?

Is that a TV for... $350?

What?

Do you mean glare? Then yes, plasma's are the TV's you wanna stay away from if that room gets a bunch of lighting.  OT, not exactly the "BOOM" deal PS3 has at Best Buy, but it's certainly nice to see they're finally doing an indepedent deal from BF for 360 as well.  Now for Wal-Mart to have a PS3 deal to keep fans from shaking their fists.

No I mean ghosting, ghosting was an issue/or still is with plasma TVs. Let's say I am playing a game and I have to go to bathroom/something that can take 10-45 mins the screen will have whatever that image is burned into it. So whatever you do there will still be that image burned into the screen so you will see the thing you are watching and outline of the burned in image.

Oh wow, never knew that one.  Only adds another reason to grabbing an lcd if/when I grab an HDTV.  Thx for that info

Well, really you should just go with the LED/OLED TV's when you get the chance. They are a bit more costly, but LED will never die in our lifetime. OLED is even better but they are VERY expensive. If you are going to wait might as well wait for the best deal.

No, I don't believe Plasmas have Ghosting issues any more.

While LCDs are typically the better overall TV, this deal for a $350 42" TV is fantastic.

That it is, it's a fricken amazing deal. If I wasn't so strapped, I'd most likely pick this one up I could give the TV away as a gift to family.

Cheap plasmas still do while more expensive ones never did. Friend of mine bought one 3 months ago and it has slight ghosting issues. Its not as bad KingFate describes though.

Not something deal breaking that should keep one from buying an HDTV...

Plasmas have their advantages like deeper blacks, better contrast and better refresh rate than most lcds of same price.

u should b so happy in the usa, u get so money good deals!!
