Forums - Nintendo - I have 115$ to spend on amazon.com and want to buy Wii games!! HELP

I am a huge fan of Rayman. I had great fun beating the 1 player and my wife enjoyed it as well. As far as multiplayer I like it as well as anything on the system(except WiiSports which is still #1 to me). So I would recommend that at the price you can get it at now. Othereise Power Pros or a Wii Points card.

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

*naznatips is exempt

Fair enough that the lack of online bothers you. It's the most fun i've had on a next gen console yet though, and i'm the kind of person that only somewhat likes sports games buying them once every 3-4 years or so.

Aside from that... the pickings look slim on Amazon for under 45. That Naruto game got pretty good reviews if your into well... naruto.

I'd suggest a wiipoints card or something, but i mean you don't like Power Pros for not having online. So, yeah just go for the controllers, they are a solid option. Though not as fun.

Sorry if I sounded like I was underapreciating the game you recommend. Actually it looks very good and what surprised me the most was the gamespot review (they gave the game an 8.0 and everyone knows how gamespot underrate wii games), and IGN gave it a great score too.

Yes all my problem with it goes to the lack of online, if it had it then it would be a no brainer for me. And I'm pretty sure that in a year or maybe a little more 2K sports will release an updated version of the game with online play.

Although let me tell you, the game is interesting me more and more, and it's winning this competition so far.

Consider how its sasles have been going, I don't think we'll get any more iterations. There's no point to buying a new game just for the roster anyway, you can manually update it yourself.

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

1 word: RTFA

I don't think you should waste your money on Wario Ware, it may be fun and good use of the remote but its short, like real short. If its $20 one day thats when you should pick it up.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

I am with Kazs216 on this one; get MLB Power Pro's. It not just a great sports game. It's a great game, period.

Trauma Center has recently gone done to $30 at Gamestop, but I don't know about on Amazon.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a fun puzzler, if you like puzzle games, and it is only $20.

By the way, I haven't told you that I haven't got a wii yet hehehehe
I play at a neighbour's house, the problem is that I live in a country where the wii goes at retail for about 4 times the actual price and I'm still trying to find it online at the normal price. But it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a store that has wiis in stock and that sells it without bundles. Even if they do get stock it's sold out in a few hours.

Makes me mad that some bundles come with the crappiest games for the system like chicken shoot, anubis and balls of fury. Nintendo should make its own online store that limits one wii per household and that sells the system without bundles.

I'll have to say either MLB Power Pros or Mercury Meltdown Revolution in addition to the two games you're already getting.

You're lucky, by the way, to have all that credit at a time when there's actually starting to be a lot of good stuff to play on the Wii.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
