Konami didn't try. They barely marketed the game at all. Same with Elebits.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

mgs would be awsome on the 360, but i don't think it will happen, even with shares dropping. if it stays exclusive, me, and many, many others, will end up buying PS3s.

Konami wasn't the only company to drop today, as a matter of fact, today was a horrible day for investors. Other than that, it's pretty clear that Sony is funding alot of MGS4's development, otherwise MGS4 would already be slated for 360 release.
