it depends on the company but the traditional financial year which most companies follow ends on March 31st and new one starts on 1st April

Sony follows the traditional financial year

Between 1st week of december and last week of March, the PS3 sold

It needs to sell another 6.2m in that period this time around. They are selling nearly double at the moment, and with Final Fantasy XIII, GT5 and GoW III coming, I think Sony can certainly do that

Maybe but it still seems like too many units to ship but we will have to wait to see FFXIII's effect.
