The XBox 360 has no system sellers left. It is a 4 year old system and its best days are long gone. Amen to that brothers.

It is a sad sign of a person's humanity when they form a brotherhood around an electronic device produced by a corporation whose objective in live is to maximize profits.  You may want to find a traditional religion, which at least offers you hope of there being immortality.  With the Playstation platform, you aren't even guaranteed backwards compatibility.

I couldn't have said it better, thats sig worthy material right there. The forums are becoming more and more annoying to come to every day and I can see why when users like that are left alone to spew propaganda about an electronic device they worship and the mods don't do anything about it.

I agree that was the most awesome quote ever definatly put it in your sig!!!

Long Live SHIO!

Natal is a system seller, who knew. They got Halo, which is nice, and like a avalanche of titles coming in 2010.

Sony has no system sellers left.  It is a 3 year old system that is constantly cloning 360 rather than introducing new features itself...  Amen to that...

You mean the PS3 is cloning the 360, in which the 360 is cloning the PS2? So in terms, PS3 cloning PS2?  Everybody takes a bit of what the other competition does so saying one clones another isnt exactly right.

And introducing new features, the PS3 brought in blu-ray and cell processor? Its the only console with blu-ray and the cell, sure it may not mean much to many but thats not considered new enough?  Every competitor brings in something new.

So whatever you're amen-ing to its false.

Competition is good and that's why both Sony and Microsoft need to be healthy.  For that I am glad Sony is coming back...  If Sony hadn't started their comeback by the end of this year they would have sent to oblivion...

People don't care about blu-ray and the cell will be replaced in the next iteration so it can't be that hot...  Blu-ray adoption is low, the cell is just a difficult to program nightmare that Sony has imposed on developers.

On 12/12 the uber awesomeness of Reach will be revealed to the world and the economic crisis will come to an end as everyone in the US pre-orders the game immediately.

The way I see it:

Alan Wake is not a big system seller.

Splinter Cell probably won't be a big system seller unless it comes up with the next big multiplayer game.

Gran Turismo is a huge system seller, when every GT has sold close to 10 million or more, only those who aren't really thinking about it would claim it's not a system seller.

Final Fantasy XIII is a huge system seller, and since it was developed for the Playstation and has a fanbase that consists of Playstation owners, it will push more PS3's than 360's.

God of War III is not a system seller. Just... no.

The Last Guardian probably isn't a system seller even though I think it should be.

Fable 3 is not a system seller when we've already had Fable 2, unless it does something revolutionary like Molyneux always claims the series will do.

Heavy Rain is not a system seller.

Sure, some of these games will give a slight boost to weekly sales, but we're talking 10k-20k. The big games like FFXIII and GT5 will boost sales 50k or more, with lasting effects. FFXIII might see that 50k spread across systems though.

And to answer the OP, the 360 has no system sellers until Natal.

Sometimes I wonder if people like PS3beats360 and PS3ftw are really just PR from Sony who are paid to troll as a new form of viral marketing on forums.

Depends on Microsofts aggressive advertising, otherwise I would say nothing.

Whether people care about blu-ray and the cell (even if cause devs greif working with it) is people's opinion as we all have our own, but you cant disregard them and say that the PS3 didnt introduce any new features cause that is a false statement.

As for blu-ray adoption, it may not have met your standards as high but statistically in the same time frame its greater than of DVD adoption when it was introduced.

Uhh, Alan Wake? Splinter Cell Conviction? Mass Effect 2?

I dont think natal will be that big. it will cost over 60 dollars and then u will have to
buy games for it. the PS3 HAS PLENTY of games left
