still kind of hard to tell >.>;; it's brighter...i think
Currently Playing: Devil Survivor 2 (NDS)
I'm really not sure what I'm looking at specifically in those shots since they were taken with a digital camera off an LCD screen.
Native res screen captures would be a lot more useful even though I realize few have the equipment to do HDMI screen grabs.
I'm assuming the game engine was tweaked for the US demo to run smoother as was claimed by Sega (shouldn't be that much of a difference in size) and possibly some of the graphical or sound resources were changed. It's possible they simply added the English track and left the Japanese track resources, unaccessible to players.
That wouldn't make too much sense though seeing as how developers are charged by the GB for downloads. One would think they'd keep the demos as small as possible, even if to save a few cents off each download (or maybe it just doesn't matter contrary to what some claimed).
No idea. Seems pretty quick turnaround if this is the improved engine, but in principle the only way the same thing should be larger is if the assets have grown - i.e. larger textures, etc. This would fit with improving performance on PS3, but I didn't get impression they'd completed that yet.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
in those pictures the fog seems to be gone,,,,just look at the JP version it has fog/blurry atmosphere.
After playing the demo, the US version has a better frame-rate, crisper cleaner graphics, and its less glitchy plus its easier to control.

So Sony came through, it seems.
