I personally think it's a nice choice.
Slashing with Wii Motion Plus would be awkward if you HAD to use a nunchuck.
If this game is half as fun as Swordplay in Wii Sports Resort, it will find a place in my collection.
Pixel Art can be fun.

Didnt know it was possible. Gonna try.
DONE. Thread name is impossible. But i showed some summary info on the first post.

After watching the clip a few times, it's really hard to tell. I mean, it looks like it could be restricted to free-roam "corridors", but that's no different than slash'em ups like Dynasty Warriors, Sengoku Basara or N3 and it certainly isn't "on rails". We don't see enough movement to really tell yet...
wasnt starfox on the snes on rails? why do people all of a sudden hate on rails shooters?
Because Wii's had a lot of them while other genres were ignored. Also, they were all the same, most restrictive, kind of rail shooter, differently from Star Fox or Sin and Punishment.

Arcade Gun Games have stolen the "Rail Shooter" title from it's correct genre classification imo (ie: Rebel Assault, Panzer Dragoon, Space Harrier, Star Fox, etc). Games like HotD and Time Crisis weren't called rail shooters in the past, dunno why they are now?

Yeah, you're right, for some reason "light gun" games this generation have been called rail shooters, and many feel they have been abused of, so now a rail shooter is seen as a bad thing, as most gamers won't even remember what the genre can actually be like.
Good job people. Hating on the game even before a decent gameplay video is released. Bravo!
