Well what I guess is that since the launch of wii, every year that followed after, Reggie has been setting warnings that there will be shortage supply of wii to keep to christmas holiday demand which gives the consumers no time to relax and risk it to wait for the holiday before they can purchase the wii for themselves or a present to their friends, family or relatives. But this year is different from the rest which Nintendo or Reggie has not announce if there will be shortage and so the people that need a wii will want to wait and relax for the christmas rush. I believe everything will gear up and pack up lots of sales before new year because this will be the first time since the launch of wii that there won't be supply constraint for december and most people are setting their eyes for that time.

I'd take that bet but I'm fond of my money.

I wouldn't doubt it. Makes me wonder how far journalists will go until Nintendo starts launching libel suits. These sorts of lies can have a negative effect on their stocks.

I'ts a fail if you consider that NSMBWii and th $199 pricetag were supposed to be Wii's magic saviors that would put it up YoY.

Still Nintendo has nothing to worry, for Wii is still beating it's competitors.

There constantly outselling the ps3/360 every week,yet more was excpected from them. lol!!!!!!!! What number would be good for you,2-3 million wii's sold. No matter how you cherry pick it wii has already won this generation plain and simple!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure no number would make Wii haters think it was good. Particularly the crazy (and I just mean very strongly leaning towards, not crackers) PS3 supporters. Ever since the slim launched and the PS3 started selling better than before, everything that everyone else does is now a total failure to those people. I just play my Uncharted and enjoy my system. Oh, and save for a new slim. Because Slim is sexy.
