Forums - Nintendo - new prince of persia coming, will the wii get shafted again?

I'm pretty sure it will be on PS3/360/PSP, just like Assassin's Creed.

Pretty much this.

It'll be an on-rails platformer and then Ubisoft will go "why isn't our crappy spinoff we put no effort into not selling?"

On-rails platformer, eh? Does that involve the Balance Board?

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

Hm, the chance of a Wii version is quite low but I won't call it impossible just yet. Ubisoft wants a more "casual" PoP, and thus it would be foolish not to make a Wii version.

Basically what I'm saying is the only creativity third parties have shown on the Wii is finding spectacular ways to crash and burn. If they can figure out the on rails platformer, they'll make it and it'll suck more than anything in the history of sucking.

even if wii get's the POP, i can bet on the fact it'll be crap. it'll be a port from psp/ps2. then the game will not sale, and.....you know the rest of the story

BTW, Crash Bandicoot was an on-rails platformer, at least when Naughty Dog was making them. Plus if such a thing was done to PoP, it could actually make the platforming particular to the series actually easier (as in you don't have either a bad fixed camera, or have to slow down with every jump to position a free camera).

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
