BTW, Crash Bandicoot was an on-rails platformer, at least when Naughty Dog was making them. Plus if such a thing was done to PoP, it could actually make the platforming particular to the series actually easier (as in you don't have either a bad fixed camera, or have to slow down with every jump to position a free camera).
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
