Last year ubisoft explained that due to technical?issues (and an admitted market misscalculation early on), prince of persia was not released on the wii.

but a new POP is announced, and Ubisoft seems to try to capitalize on the movie:

"Our new title will be true to the Prince of Persia roots and should leverage the fantastic impact the movie is going to have on our franchise," said Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot during an investor call this morning. Guillemot also added the game will be targeted at both hardcore and casual audiences.

Ok no "hardcore excuse" this time..Still, with portables included in the announcement, how is gonna play with the wii?If ubisoft once again demotes the wii audience since "shaun white 2" and Rabbids" underperformed, is gonna be a bit pathetic. I hope i dont hear that again.

So if thats their choice they rather skip the wii.

Since it´s to capitalize on the movie, I doubt it...at the same time, I don´t think Wii only owners would be missing much...yeah I can´t see the future but something about this game just screams 'mediocre'.

It'll probably be on every console but the Wii, like Assassins Creed.

Don't worry though, the last game sucked balls, so this one won't be much of a loss (imo).

The game is not related to the movie, just released at the same time.

It'll be an on-rails platformer and then Ubisoft will go "why isn't our crappy spinoff we put no effort into not selling?"
