Both. I would get my ass kicked alot in FF8 so I had to level up alot. And the whole magic drawing system sucked donkey balls.


The drawing i can understand as it is a problem with most people.  I always thought the grinding in VIII was one of the easiest next to FFX imo.

Know the junctions and limits and you never will. I always walked half-dead there just to use limits all the time.

I got my ass kicked alot while grinding. Do you know how its feels to gain 5 or 6 levels just to get killed by one of FF8's hax monsters and have to gain those levels ALL OVER AGAIN?!!! Also, the battle system in FF8 got boring alot of times so that didn't help.

BTW did any of you grind in FF10?

I didn't reall have to, I didn't have to in FF7, or FF9 as far as I can remember

FF12 on the other hand.....lol

not really mainly b/c FFX didnt have a lvling up system and relyed on the sphere grid for building stats. as for FFXII yea there was a bit of grinding there

That works....until one of FF8's hax monsters show up. Then your f*cked.

lol I hate Marlboros with their stupid breath attack. I got destroyed a lot in FF VIII too so I had to grind at the end to beat Ultimecia. But not for long.

OH MY GOD do you know how much times I got my ass handed to me in the final battle? The FANTASTIC ending made up for all my ass whoppings though.
