Forums - PC - Which game should I play first?

Would you say F/S N as a good intro to this stuff? What's your fav?

I'm kind of put off by the huge amounts of text, though I still might end up enjoying it. I guess I won't know till I play one myself (PW:AA series didn't really look appealing to me, but I gave it a try and I love it).

Holy fucking shit, I'm playing Kagetsu Tohya right now, and I forgot to take a screenshot, but man is the game a lot more complex than Tsukihime. I had like, fucking 6-7/8 choices.

IDK why, but Type Moon VN's also give me the fucking shivers. I'm afraid to play the game with headphones, and I try not to get my face too close to the screen, and get absorbed into the world they present.

Tsukihime, you had at most 3 choices.

How would I be able to get them, sounds interesting?

I torrented it, but this might work for Tsukihime:

I personally would recomend Tsukihime first, just because it's so low budget and F/S N will seem better afterwards, but because of its low budget and slight repetitiveness, you might be put off isntantly.

I think F/S N is too large for a DDL. Just type up torrents for it in google.

DON'T FUCKING SEARCH AND FIND OUT ABOUT F/S N!!! SPOILING THE PLOT WILL ABSOLUTELY RUIN YOUR EXPERIENCE!!! ENJOY IT LIKE I DID AND EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!

Don't even google F/S N without typing in "download" "torrent", etc. DO NOT YOUTUBE F/S N! Just download the game now and play it if you never heard of it.

Thanks, I'll check it out now. I watched the anime randomly during the summer, would that ruin the experience?

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

Sorta does =/

Hopefully it'll be cool though, just don't think about it, try to forget it all, and don't look up any info about the game or anime.

I played F/S N last year? 2 years ago? And now I simply just want more. I really love the concept of alternate realities, and being able to see characters in so many different lights. Once it's the summer, I'm going to play non-Type Moon VN's. Already downloaded Shuffle! probably won't get to it at all.

I finished arcueid's true ending recently, story was a bit short but awesome at the same time.Kagetsu Tohya looks like a fan game to me from screenshots,i mean not serious like tsukihime or F/S N,so i haven't tried it.

Kagestu Tohya is just as bit creepy, even though it has totally random momments and funny ass moments. IDK why, but I feel like the low budgetness and lack of control really gives me a sense of horror.

And the gameplay is awesome, since it's actually not a linear story, but almost like a detective story. You actually have to actively think in order to beat the game.

Ciel, Akiha, and Hisui are awesome. Arc and Kohaku weren't as great, but awesome nonetheless.

I like some manga, and also like Battlefield and Total War....... good portion of folk that I know who like one like both....

Manga is basically just a comic.... lots of it is crap like most western comics are crap.... but there are some really cool ones just like there are some really cool western comics /shrug

I'm sure there are mangas out there like Watchmen, however I seem to never be able to find or hear of them.....

I have to comment on this because I am an anal bastard. Watchman is not a manga. It is a graphic novel and a comic book.

That is all I have to say about that.

Sheesh is the original nation really that important to the definition of manga, comic book, and graphic novel?

"Nya! I protest, but I can't do anything with this cat's body.
'Excuse me.'
Saying that, she does the absolutely inexcusable act by holding up one of my legs and staring around that part.

'A boy. You really resemble Shiki-sama'
Hisui smiles happily (creepy XD XD XD)
'Nya, nya..."
Hi, Hi...
"Nyannyanyanya!!!'
Hisui, you idiot!!!'"

"-And Nii-san by the beach under a setting sun lightly puts his hand on my shoulder.
'Akiha... don't be foolish. You're the only thing precious to me.'
Our eyes get closer and closer.
But I get rid of the hand.
'Lies. You have Arcueid, Nii-san. She's beautiful, and her body too... extremely appealing...'
'Don't be idiotic, Akiha, that's what you call a fatso. Compared to your black hair and cozy chest, they're nothing'
Nii-san's five fingers stop me from running away.
Without words, we slowly...

'What is this! Ahaha, what am I doing!'

Tohno Akiha erases it all coolly as if she's embarrassed at what she's written herself.
'Really, what am I doing... even though we're under the same roof.... If I do something as pathetic as this, then there's no hope for...'
Ah... our eyes meet. (Akiha with her empty eyes)

XD XD XD
