Not sure how the rest of the weekly sales will go for the 360, but it should push 9 mill by 2010, which is still a great number compared to 2007/06

I think both consoles do pretty good. Only it does not show as such cause the WII overshadows everything in sales.

XBOX360 does much better then expected at the beginning of this generation. Comparing to the original xbox. Congrats to them for that. And i am sure if it was not for the RROD, they would be doing a lot better (specially in Europe, in US i am not too sure)

PS3 does a lot worse then expected at the beginning. But they put up a great comeback. And do pretty good lately.

Yeah, I think PS3's comeback is tremendous this year.  Microsoft has to be worried going forward, for the first time I think their "2nd place victory" worldwide is seriously in doubt around the industry.  

Generational comparisons are interesting though, in that each "placer" seems to be decently outperforming their last gen counterparts now (Wii/PS2, 360/Xbox, PS3/GC, DS/GBA, PSP/...NGage?).

Comparing the PSP to the NGage? haha well since the NGage never really took off, that would been a easy win haha. I think you could better compare the DS to the GBA and the PSP to the GB or something.

Edit: well actually that would not work either. I am not sure what other handheld you could compare the PSP to. I think both PSP and DS should be compared to GBA/GB :) or maybe even better......... compare PSP with the GB.... and the DS in its own new touchscreen league haha

If we compared PSP to any GB though, it'd be tracking well behind. :/

I picked NGage because it was basically the defacto #2 handheld last gen, like PSP this gen, even though it did WAY worse...
