Yeah, I think PS3's comeback is tremendous this year. Microsoft has to be worried going forward, for the first time I think their "2nd place victory" worldwide is seriously in doubt around the industry.
Generational comparisons are interesting though, in that each "placer" seems to be decently outperforming their last gen counterparts now (Wii/PS2, 360/Xbox, PS3/GC, DS/GBA, PSP/...NGage?).
