hey I understand your concerns, but if your dad and his gf are happy then thats what counts, at his age its probably his last chance to reasonably have children and they probably wanted to have one together. My mom and her boyfreind have a 20 year age difference and they have a 11 year old together, and first I was a little iffy on the situation but dont worry you'll learn to accept and eventually consider the baby as your little brother or sister.

wat do tou mean " eventually consider baby ur bro or sis"?....it IS his bro or Sis

well physically yes, but emotionally its hard when your parent has a child with someone else other then your other parent. I know at first I dident want to accept my brother as a member of my family but now its a non-issue and he's my brother.

@Xxain - That's why I mentioned the clothespin joke ;).

It will be weird I to have a little brother or sister. Especially knowing that it'll be a teenager when I enter my mid-life crisis but at least I can try and be an example. And yeah I know I'll have fun with the little bugger. When he's old enough he's getting my old N64.

I'll be seeing my dad wednesday so I have some time consciously picking my words and such on the whole situation. Here's just hoping that his GF handles everything right as well with me (she just irks me the wrong way)

I hope you plan on giving him golden eye with that n64

and congratulations dude :)

I plan on giving him Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie-Tooie, Smash Bros, Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask and Donkey Kong 64 at the very least. If only I could find Mario 64 again.

If your dad is happy, I don't see why you shouldn't be. I don't have the exact same situation as you, but I do have a little cousin who is 1, and her parents are the same age as my parents. Seemed a bit weird at first, but it's awesome having a little baby around. Her 2 older brothers she has (around 17 and 21) also felt weird, but as soon as she was born, they were cool with it.

I'm sure you'll love it.

Pretend to be his uncle.

whats it like finding out definitely that your dad's having as much sex as you, if not more?

the woman's 39, probably her only chance for a baby. just a shame that you're so much older than it.

of course, you'll be feeling a wee bit jealous too, i'd imagine. hell, i know i would..

*hugs* congrats, though, you might end up with a baby brother :D and who knows, it might even make you consider settling down and having bairns of your own

Ok the way I see it you got 2 options:

Kill your dad but i don't think you wanna do that, or kill your dads gf

o you accepted it, well then you could practice on the kid when it gets a little older
