Is Nomura doing character design again?

*sigh*

Everyone has their own favorites, but I thought FF12 is a stupendous work of art. That's not something I say very often about a game, but FF12 has some of the best storyline, voice acting, characters, dialogue and, yes, game-play of any game in history. Mature scriptwriting, strong female characters, subtle geopolitical themes, sky-pirating thrills and Viera chills - it's all there.

That's going to be tough to equal, let alone top. Some obvious continuities: air-ships, technology versus magic, characters who have to make fateful choices...

Sweet, can't wait.... oh wait...all we have to do is WAIT... Grrrr

Wow, it really did not take long to turn this into a bitchfest about FF12, did it?

I'm someone who liked the new battle system in XII, seriously i thought it was fresh and worked well. However the characters in XII were nothing compared to the ones in my favorites (VI,VII and IX) and IMO that is where XII badly falls down.

 Final Fantasy XII says STFU.

FFXII is a good game so stop bitching about it. Most of the screens are old have not seen the last one.

Yeah, I know. I actually think his style is much better suited to his Kingdom Hearts games; I have no problem with his work there, but I've never been a fan of his designs on the FF games (which does not necessarily reflect my opinions on the games themselves). I would much rather see another Amano game, or even another Yoshida game.

Looks sweet enough! I wonder if it has real-time combat like XII? And if the main character looks gay (they're supposed too!!)?
