Seems like every 5 minutes the connection times out or a forbidden error comes up.

What is the source of these strange and puzzling errors?

We all know that ioi is having difficulties with the site right now. There are several threads about this at the moment. At this point it is uncertain when the issues will be resolved since not even ioi knows exactly what is causing the disruption. Some are theorizing an outside hack while it could just be a programming thing. I know nothing since I know nothing about this whole SQL lingo they keep talking about.

The most we can hope for is that it gets resolved, since this is the best game forum on the net, bar none.

could be someone trying to "wget" (if that's the right term) the site which eats of banwidth causing the site to crash by eating up resources.

It;s so SLOW right now

it took me 15 min to get into the NEW THREAD page!!

Yeah this site's getting really annoying and hard to multi-thread.

But ioi has brought this up several times, I don't think even he knows what is gonig on at this point.

Sometimes it's lightning fast.
Sometimes it times out and gives me a million mysql errors.

Very slow website, extreemly slow.

Yeah its annoying the hell out of me. It takes like 5 minutes for my post to be seen. This bullsh*t....ioi please fix the servers!!!!!!!!!!

The problems are very sporadic. Everything works fine for like 15 min., then I start getting "Forbidden 404" errors for 10 min., then Mysql or w/e errors for another 10 min., then it goes back to normal, Rinse, repeat.

It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one experiencing these problems.

I agree with super_etecoon though.  I really like this website, the forum, and the community members.  That's why it's so frustrating to face these problems.
