Well obviously a price drop would have had the biggest impact. But I'm just saying higher quality games would have sold more 360 consoles. Maybe not enough to outsell the PS3, but atleast sell better in general.

And when I say better bundles, I mean games people care about. Games that are hyped, sold well, great reviews, etc. Games like Left 4 Dead, Gears of War, and Halo 3 would get more attention than most of the garbage we saw bundled.

Nice sales for the PS3 Woot! It's a win for the Sony crowd for now.
Next year will be an interesting sales battle if PS3 can maintain this momentum up and survived the upcoming revenge and onslaught of the 360 next year then it might outsell the 360 in the future.

no they didn't since all games are third party. at much the disc and few royalties.

Woops, my bad lol. Ok heres my updated prediction:

 

Americas 425k

Others 205k+

Japan 32k

Total: 660k-700k

 

Still the same for 360 (475-500k)

 

X360 outsold by around 200k :o

Only one of the games was third party, the rest were first. My point was that they will likely sell less software which they make a profit on because people are less likely to buy more games when they already got two with the PS3.
