Forums - Nintendo - The Problem With Nintendo... I said that?

at #3 they have been trying for the last few generations, during the Gamecube they got Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles exclusive (which was not good) Tales of Symphonia and the Baten Kaitos rpg games which were all awesome, and they originally had a deal with Capcom for multiple exclusive games including all of the Resident Evil exclusives (4 eventually went to ps2) This generation they did go out and get Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest exclusive which are huge games!!

I don't play online so, I don't care about that...

I love every Mario game, but I don't buy'em, only the adventure/platformers, RPGs and kart (loved Mario Golf though).

The only big game missing is Disaster: Day of crisis, don't give a damn about Fatal Frame 4

About third party exclusives, I loved the GameCube ones (there were a lot), and I really liked this year's list of exclusive, but yeah, there are big names missing in the 3rd party list...

What I don't like about Nintendo is that they don't take Latin America for serious and they seem not to listen to their fans, we've been asking for a Luigi's Mansion 2, Star Fox Wii, Kirby Wii and Kid Ikarus Wii for years, and what do we get? Another Metroid, another Zelda, another Mario Galaxy... They're amazing, but please, give us something new, some fresh air!

agree with points 1-4, but 5. I like mario kart, mario strikers, paper mario,

^^^ yeah, good point, we latin america fans want luigi's mansion 2, but we aren't in map for them

1. They never do America bundles (black friday)

2. They don't care about online (NSMBwii)

3. They don't care of bringing exclusives I would love (FF13)

4. They don't bring some big games (Fatal Frame 4, NPC: Pikmin 2)

5. Some of the Mario Spin-offs are baddddd (All but kart, rpg, and adventure)

Agree?, (I wonder how much would it take 'til I'm banned)

My take on your problems

1. Wii HW sells enough to justify not making official bundles, they are trying to maximise the profits but selling software separetly. When Wii sales in AMerica will suffer im sure they will think about bundling. (plus they fresh after the price cut )

2. That just a strategy they have chosen, i think the only game that suffers due to lack of good Online is Brawl. NSMBWii is perfect for local multiplayer. Nintendo just takes different approach to online than competition.

3. Well im also suprised they arent trying to get more big 3rd party games to the Wii, but i see why they dont want to pay for them. TBH MH III and DQ are big and they are coming to the wii.

4. Agreed i dont see why not bring FF IV or D:DoC to the States maybe NoA just doesnt think they good enough

5. That's matter of taste but i think Mario Spin Off games are great

This is NOA, not Nintendo as a whole, and they've done lots of bundles in the past (GC, N64) the Wii is doing phenominal compared to previous Nintendo consoles, so I'm sure they aren't rushing to bundle, as sales are going back up so they might as well maximize profits.

2. They don't care about online (NSMBwii)

one game does not mean they don't care about online. I'm of the opinion that online in NSMBWii would generally suck, but relatively indifferent on if they should have included it. Either way, at least Nintendo cares about local multiplayer unlike most other companies and local > online for NSMB and most other genres, while online is great for some others.

3. They don't care of bringing exclusives I would love (FF13)

Nintendo would love to bring exclusives to their systems, and they work hard for them all the time. They just aren't willing to shell out millions of dollars. DQX is a Wii exclusive, which is arguably just as big as FF13.

4. They don't bring some big games (Fatal Frame 4, NPC: Pikmin 2)

again, this is NOA, but your argument is bad anyways. NPC: Pikmin 2 is not a big game in any way shape or form. The NPC series has only sold modestly. Not only that, but Fatal Frame 4 isn't a Nintendo IP, and NOA doesn't have the publishing rights, and therefore can't be to blame for it not coming over.

5. Some of the Mario Spin-offs are baddddd (All but kart, rpg, and adventure)

I'll agree some spin-offs are bad (mario in time?), but you make it sound like only 3 are good. I would say tennis, golf, and soccer are all great. In fact, I would argue that Mario Strikers Charged is one of the best multiplayer games on the Wii. It even has a great online setup, but the people who are online are just way too good.

Agree?, (I wonder how much would it take 'til I'm banned)

If you are trying to get banned I can oblige, but I don't see how any of your thoughts above would lead to a banning as it just seems like a general misunderstanding to me.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
