PS3 in general have had beetter black friday deals (Amazon, Walmart, BB) than Xbox. It won't have the same impact that the $100 gift card had at Walmat, but it should maintain, and boost PS3 sales this week.

I do not think so, but it is quite possible that retailers 'know' that Xbox hardware will fly off the shelf for the next several weeks (in the America's for sure), so in that case why even offer a bundle for the Xbox? I have been looking for a cheap arcade since I got a E74 error 2 days ago on my launch console (I have 2 others anyways, so not that big a deal, and it gives me an excuse to get a new one with HDMI that I want), but I cannot find any deals. Even the deal at Amazon would have been good (especially the MW2 deal), with free L4D2, but I already have both games. The only deal I have seen is the $50 Gc from newegg on an Elite. I guess I will keep waiing then.....and go to home depot and do the X-clamp fix in the interm.

Thats because it is the case with any 'deal' as quantities are limited. All this means is that the set aside a certain number of consoles for the sale. It does not mean that the console has sold out. They have lots of PS3 instock at $299. They also have the games separately.
